Lia&Cia was created in 2005 with the aim of creating a different kind of jewellery representing figurative elements.
The Fruit Collection began with the watermelon, or, rather, with earrings the shape of a watermelon. Then came the earrings in the shape of a kiwi, figs and avocado.
As the earring collections grew, we created our first broaches using felt and textile paint as the main materials. By then Lia&cia had set its first foundations, which were consolidated through the creation of the first purses and handbags with the animal illustrations that have become the brands’ hallmark.
From those first steps onwards, Julia Muñoz –graphic designer (Valencia, 1976) and creator of Lia&cia – nourished the creations catalogue with new and original pieces.
Lia grew with cia, the group of collaborators that have participated in this project over time, a project that is under constant growth and that hopes to satisfy the needs of all of those who believe in the Lia&cia tandem.
